In Forensics, both for Crime Scene Processing and in the Crime Laboratory itself, Photography plays a major, vital role. Therefore developing the skills and abilities as well as a deep understanding of the equipment and technology is a pivotal part of the professional development of our students in their preparation for success in the field. In this exercise, students taking the introductory course in Digital Photography for Crime Scenes went on a photo shoot on the Ringling Estate’s grounds here in Sarasota. Among their assignments was that of developing a photographer’s eye. Here is some of the work from that shoot.
