By using Virtual Chemistry Laboratory computer software, the Biomedical Science students at Fort Myers Campus of Keiser University are learning to understand various organic chemistry reactions as well as characterizing the organic compounds with the help of infrared (IR) spectra and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. This organic chemistry II lab course (CHM2211L) being taught by our Biomedical Science faculty Dr. Jai Parkash helps the students to reinforce what they learn in organic chemistry II lectures also presented by Dr. Parkash. In addition, students are also required to do hands on chemistry lab experiments.
