The Fort Myers Police Department recently held an internal training session at the Fort Myers campus led by Nola Theiss, Executive Director of Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships (HTAP).  HTAP is dedicated to bringing the issue of human trafficking to the forefront of public consciousness through community partnerships and sharing resources and programs.  Dean Rob Knox gave a wonderful introduction about Keiser University and its programs before thanking the Department for having provided the color guard for the campus’ spring commencement ceremony.  The Fort Myers campus has done several outreach programs with HTAP and a recent graduate who was the valedictorian of the class of 2015, Diego Moreno, had an internship with them.
