Fort Myers Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Director, Lea Clem, took her preclinical class on a field trip to the lobby to look at some of the toys that have been donated to Operation Homefront this week.  They analyzed the skill set necessary to play with them.  They also looked at the pediatric diagnoses that would gain therapeutic benefit from them, and the appropriate age/developmental stage of each toy.  Students shared their thoughts and were reminded of all of the possibilities available to increase success in therapy.
