“I’m grateful for the academic excellence offered at Keiser University-Miami. The professors are knowledgeable and experienced in their fields of occupational therapy. They are committed and caring professionals who strive for the success of every student. The fieldwork placements were beneficial to me because it is there I decided to pursue a career assisting to rehabilitate individuals in a skilled nursing facility. The education, preparation, and experiences gained at Keiser University were instrumental in helping me to obtain my license in Florida and Maryland as a practicing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. I’m currently working in a skilled nursing facility in Maryland; where I am able to support the rehab team and care for the patients at the facility. I’m looking forward to a rewarding future as a COTA!”
