Keiser University’s E-campus celebrated the graduation of its first group of officers in the Volusia County Law Enforcement program; our first hybrid program for law enforcement officers which began in May 2012 and has grown to approximately 90 officers. These officers have shown a strong commitment to their studies while protecting our community and never lost sight of their long term goal and for four of these five officers; they were also the first person in their family to graduate from college.  Lt. Louis Marino, Lt. Tim Morgan, Sgt. Richard Fortin, Sgt. Debra Smith and Jared Shaheen graduated with honors and are all members of the National Criminal Justice Society, Alpha Phi Sigma-Kappa Delta Epsilon Chapter.  The officers participated in the Daytona Beach Campus’ graduation allowing them to share this special moment with their family and friends; what an honor it was to share this day with them.
