Each year on St. Patrick’s Day at the Miami Campus a leprechaun appears and drops off her Pot O’Bagels for all of the Faculty, Staff and Students to enjoy. These are not just any kind of bagels, they are large, soft and delicious GREEN Offerdahl’s bagels to go with the soft GREEN cream cheese. Our leprechaun is Criminal Justice instructor, Sharon Gordon Mullane, she also makes her rounds to several other places including Weston Police Department and Weston -Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue sharing her luck of the Irish! A quote from our Leprechaun “After all of my travels today I can honestly say that it ain’t easy being a leprechaun but it certainly is rewarding when I see the smiles on all the faces as they sample the ‘green’ each and every year.”
