Keiser University Pembroke Pines campus ‘Super Smash’ Esports Team members have found success competing in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) Fall Cup with a 3-1 season securing a spot in the playoffs.

Led by Captain Joseph “Ultimatum” Perez, the varsity team pushed past the first loss of the season as brothers Phil “LiquidJoko” and Sam “Professor Oakami” Fernandez bounced back to conquer the next three games with dominant performances on characters Mii Gunner, Banjo, and Kazooie. Erik “Erikm388” Mendez also had a very dominant performance in Game 3 as Snake, with a game-winning victory.

The group is now gearing up for the play-off’s beginning November 6th to compete against 32 competing teams. Victorious outcomes will lead to the Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final 4 competitions with the National Championship game being held on Sunday, November 15th.  To cheer on the group, please visit twitch.tv/keiserpembrokepines or join their discord server at https://discord.gg/J2ZqjnG
