Tampa faculty member Michael Ostrov encourages creativity in his English and Literature classes.  One of the ways he does this is by having the students construct ‘zines’, which are small self-published written works often reproduced in limited copies via photocopier.  Tampa students have been authoring and publishing these works, which can range in structure and style from something resembling flash fiction to something more akin to a short graphic novel or anything in-between.  In collaboration with Ms. Debra Bogart and Ms. Marilene Riemer, Mr. Ostrov and his students have established a section of the library to showcase students’ creative efforts and promote creativity on campus.
