The  Tampa campus partnered with the City of Tampa Mayor’s Alliance for Persons with Disabilities to present a job fair for persons with disabilities and veterans.  The fair was open to the public and offered numerous services including resume reviews, nine different job search workshops, and 31 different vendors looking to recruit employees.  Participants were invited to participate in resume reviews, learn about interviewing skills, optimize their social networking profiles, discuss salary negotiation, and learn tips for transitioning from the military into the private sector.  The Tampa campus is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Mayor’s Alliance in advancing our mission of serving the community and promoting the knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for successful employment.

Jack Slater, administrator of Neighborhood Empowerment, represented the Mayor’s office and presented a letter of appreciation to Keiser University for hosting the event, which was accepted by President Brandon Barnhill.
