The Tampa campus’ Anatomy and Physiology class prepared and presented a poster exhibition which  highlighting various diseases, cause of disease, and practices for disease prevention.  Faculty from all programs participated by bringing their students to the poster presentation where students were able to ask questions about the different diseases and discuss prevention methods.  Each poster involved a two-student team who thoroughly researched the disease and provided a pictorial image of the disease.  This exhibition emphasized the importance of understanding the causes of certain disease and included active ways to prevent the occurrence of preventable diseases. The event generated positive feedback from KU students, faculty and staff. The research project was overseen by faculty member Luis Fernandez, M.D.
