West Palm Beach campus admissions counselor, Janique Booker, shared information about the University’s Nursing program with Muvico Theatre patrons in West Palm Beach. The Florida Nurses Foundation sponsored a showing of The American Nurse, a documentary that gives a voice to nurses who are on the front lines of the biggest issues facing America – aging, war, poverty, prisons – through the work and lives of five nurses. It is an examination of real people that will change how we think about nurses and how we wrestle with the challenges of healing America. The American Nurse is an important contribution to America’s ongoing conversation about what it means to care.

Also participating in the event, on behalf of The Florida Nurses Foundation was Linda Allen, MSN, RN, Keiser University Online Division and Laura Kowalczyc, Founder of Kids Needing Kidneys.
