Professional Experience
Dr. Vecchi has over 30 years of law enforcement experience and is a U.S. Army veteran. He formerly served as Chief of the FBI Behavioral Science Unit and was a career FBI negotiator, gaining extensive experience assessing and interacting with violent offenders.
He specializes in behavioral threat assessment, threat prevention and management, and threat response, and provides expert witness consulting in targeted violence, police procedures, negotiation, and behavioral analysis.
