Business Analytics, BA Overview

Keiser University’s Bachelor of Arts in Business Analytics offers comprehensive preparation in the skills needed to succeed in today’s data-driven business environment. Students explore how to collect, organize, and interpret data to gain insights that support business leaders in making informed choices. Coursework in the business analytics program covers data analysis, statistical models, machine learning, data warehousing, and business intelligence. You’ll also study business administration fundamentals including accounting, finance, marketing, and management. The program emphasizes hands-on experience with programming languages, database management systems, and analytics tools that business analysts use to create reports, identify areas for improvement, and support business outcomes.

Program Mission

The mission of Keiser University’s Business Analytics program is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical expertise, and soft skills needed for success in the field of data analytics. Through high-quality instruction, immersive learning experiences, and research opportunities, the program empowers students to leverage the potential of data for in-depth analysis, problem-solving, and innovative solution creation. Program Goals

The program prepares students to be proficient in data-driven problem-solving techniques and methodologies, analyze and correctly interpret complex data sets, apply data-driven insights to optimize business performance and decision-making, and lead organizational transformation by leveraging prescriptive analytics to drive innovation.

Prerequisites

Students must successfully complete MAC2233 and STA2023 before taking major courses in the business analytics program.

Program Highlights

The program includes an internship opportunity in business analytics, providing hands-on experience before graduation.
