Struggling to solve complex budget challenges in education? Join our Keiser Live Open Classroom for an interactive session focused on using critical thinking to address budget problems in education through practical, applied learning.
Open to prospective and current students, this open classroom offers the opportunity to explore real-world budgeting scenarios in public education settings while strengthening analytical and problem-solving skills. Participants will engage with applied strategies for identifying cost savings, generating revenue ideas, and improving financial decision-making in schools.
Hosted by Dr. Brian Keintz and Dr. Steven Roth, Professors of Education, the session includes a hands-on Excel demonstration related to a final budget project, along with reflection on best practices for developing solutions to budget shortfalls. Attendees will also explore how to write a clear, structured brief that justifies and supports innovative budgeting decisions.
