Professional Experience
Associate Vice Chancellor of Nursing, Keiser University College of Nursing, 2026–present. Previously served as Chief Nurse Administrator, Nursing Program Director, and nursing faculty at Keiser University. Current responsibilities include statewide oversight of nursing education programs, curriculum and program development, accreditation and regulatory compliance, assessment and evaluation, faculty and nursing leadership development, and student outcomes. United States Army, 1991–1998 — Served as a Combat Medic/91B and later as a Licensed Vocational Nurse/91C. Clinical assignments included emergency department and adult medical-surgical nursing in both large military medical centers and community hospital settings.
Professional experience also includes service on the Florida Board of Nursing in the Nurse Educator Seat, including current service as Vice Chair, and participation with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. Prior clinical experience includes nursing leadership and direct patient care in progressive care, open-heart step-down, intermediate care, medical-surgical nursing, and emergency care.
Significant professional work includes leadership of statewide nursing accreditation initiatives, nursing curriculum revision, NCLEX performance improvement, assessment and testing initiatives, development of academic policies, and expansion of simulation and other educational resources.
