Student focused training will occur each Semester. These trainings are intended to help students who are nearing the point in their academic journey when they will be, or are, preparing their IRB applications for review. As a reminder, approval is required PRIOR to any participant contact or data collection.
Students in their doctoral program should be approaching their dissertation proposal as the IRB application for doctoral students is submitted AFTER successful defense of the dissertation proposal. If you are unsure on your timing, please reach out to your faculty advisor, dissertation chair or department chair.
