Artificial Intelligence, BS Overview

Keiser University’s Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program offers a comprehensive look at how AI technologies shape the modern world, from building intelligent systems and machine learning solutions to applying automated reasoning and knowledge representation across complex problem spaces. Core courses cover the programming languages, AI techniques, and computational methods students need to develop real-world applications. The program addresses foundational concepts in deep learning, reinforcement learning, neural networks, and natural language processing, while also exploring applied artificial intelligence in areas such as speech recognition, sentiment analysis, text classification, and computer vision. Students complete an Artificial Intelligence Capstone project that brings together skills from across the degree program, demonstrating their ability to build, test, and deploy AI systems.

The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program at Keiser University is committed to preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation necessary to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions across diverse industries. Program Goals

The Artificial Intelligence, BS program prepares students to understand and apply fundamental concepts in AI development and deployment.

  • Students will demonstrate the ability to solve and navigate complex scenarios drawing inferences, appropriate to a given situation, performing decision-making using complex and changing data sets, discovering meaning, and generalizing conclusions based upon learned events and experience.
  • Students will demonstrate the capacity to understand, identify, select, and apply the appropriate tools, algorithms, methodologies, and ethical standards to projects related to this emerging field.
  • Students will demonstrate knowledge, and the application of practical skills required for successful careers in working with natural language processing, voice recognition, simulated thinking patterns, decision behaviors, machine learning, and deep learning.

Prerequisites

Entering students must achieve a Wonderlic score (or comparable) of 18 or above for entrance to the program.

Program Highlights

Keiser University’s AI degree program features two specialized concentrations: Machine Learning and Data Science. Students gain experience with industry-relevant programming languages such as Python and Java, and study AI technologies including neural networks, deep learning, and cloud computing through the Cloud and Internet Computing course. The program culminates in an Artificial Intelligence Capstone that challenges students to apply core AI concepts to innovative AI solutions in real-world contexts.

Keiser University’s Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program prepares students to enter the AI field with a strong command of both foundational concepts and applied artificial intelligence techniques.
