As Associate Vice President of the Children’s Home Society’s Community Partnership Schools, Dr. Murielle Pamphile is thankful to apply decades of experience toward building connections for children and families.
A 2013 graduate of Keiser University’s Educational Leadership doctoral program, Dr. Pamphile served as Keiser University’s Melbourne Campus Director of Student Services from 2006 to 2018.
“While working at Keiser University Melbourne, I wanted to grow in educational leadership and explore other opportunities in higher education, particularly at Keiser University,” said Pamphile, who spent several years researching which degree she should pursue and was pleased to discover Keiser’s doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, which provided a flexible schedule for busy working moms. “Having a PhD in Educational Leadership has equipped me with important skills for effective leadership and various professional responsibilities,” said Dr. Pamphile. “I joined the Children’s Home Society of Florida in September 2018 after spending a long time deciding which direction I wanted to pursue. I applied for the position out of curiosity, as I have worked in higher education for over 25 years. I decided to take a chance on something different, leveraging my transferable skills. The experience is incredibly rewarding. It enables me to make an impact on students’ lives early, before they reach college. Many students don’t make it to college due to various life circumstances. Therefore, I work closely with school administration and various partners to remove any barriers that prevent students and their families from focusing on their education,” she said.
When asked what she’d recommend to others striving to realize their career goals, Dr. Pamphile stressed the importance of surrounding oneself with strong role models and the power of perseverance. “Don’t give up. Keep moving forward, one day and one step at a time. Seek mentors and supportive people in your circle. Visualize yourself in the future place you aspire to be,” she said.
About Dr. Pamphile’s Educational Journey

In 1998, she joined The Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts as the Coordinator of Mobilization of Academic Excellence and worked as an instructor and counselor for the Early Childhood Education Program at Roxbury Community College. She steadily advanced within the field, serving as the Director of Career Services at the Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, beginning in 1999.
