Keiser University College of Golf (KUCOG) faculty member and LPGA/PGA Professional Donna White was recently presented with the South Florida PGA Hall of Fame Award by Meredith Schuler, Assistant Executive Director.
Inducted into the 2022 South Florida PGA Hall of Fame Class along with sports writer Craig Dolch, White’s tenacity and commitment to excellence drive her passion to promote the game of golf to all ages and abilities.
White’s professional golf career began in 1977 when she was an LPGA Tour Member and winner of three tour titles. Upon retiring from the Tour, she established her flagship business Golf Professional Services, Inc., an independently contracted concessionaire that provides golf merchandise, award-winning program development, instruction, food, and beverage services. It is around this time that White embodied the idea of giving back to her community through its junior programs, co-founding the Junior Golf Foundation of America (JGFA). Currently, White enjoys her “encore” career as a professor at Keiser University, where she inspires her students to pursue a career in the golf industry. With students varying from beginner to tour players, she is an instructor for the LPGA Player Development program and conducts corporate golf schools in the U.S. and Canada.
“I am elated to be able to share this moment with my colleagues, peers, and students at Keiser University who have supported all of my endeavors for the past eleven years even while I was a concessionaire at three Palm Beach County facilities. I am also grateful to the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department for providing me with the platform to do what I love, and to the many PGA and LPGA professionals I worked with and for,” said White who has been named as one of the Top 50 Best Female Teachers by Golf Digest and Golf for Women Magazine, as well as the Bellsouth/SEC Women’s Entrepreneur Award in 2000.
Since 1982, Dolch has written about golf in South Florida and on the national level, covering 50 major championships as well as a series of Ryder Cups primarily for the Palm Beach Post and later, Sports Illustrated, New York Times, Golf World, Golf Digest and USA TODAY. He has raised over $100,000 for the local community through his son Eric’s Foundation after he was diagnosed with encephalitis in 2005.
The South Florida PGA Hall of Fame has long stood for those who have been recognized for extraordinary leadership and commitment to the game of golf and service to the South Florida PGA and South Florida PGA Foundation.

My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
