Thank you for visiting the Writing Studio. As writing consultants, we strive to provide writing and related support for students and faculty. We hope you find our resources helpful.
Our Commitment to Students
As you know, students may become frustrated when they struggle with writing, reading, summarizing, organizing, analyzing, researching, and applying APA rules. Without the help they need, their learning experience and academic performance may suffer. In addition to your outstanding contributions to your students, we’re also here to lend a hand and boost morale.
Our Commitment to Faculty
When we help support students in the aforementioned areas, it provides you, the faculty, more time to focus on reading research, conducting studies, creating engaging assignments for your students, and performing other critical functions. Simply put, we’re here to help support you and to ensure your students receive the full range of services they need to maximize their graduate school experience.

How long will it take you to review a student’s assignment?
We normally return assignments within 24 hours (sometimes within a few hours) but during peak times where the volume is heavy and the page lengths are significant, it may take as long as 48 hours.
How do I know if my students use the Writing Studio?
We will send you an e-mail notifying you and a copy of the reviewed assignment every time one of your students uses our services.
Will you discuss grades with students?
No, we will never discuss grades with students – not the grade we think they deserve nor the grade they earn.
Can faculty require students to use the Writing Studio?
We want to ensure that students want our help. When students are required to submit an assignment to us, they may not read and apply our feedback. In addition, mandatory use of the Writing Studio creates a volume of assignments that may cause extended wait times. Instead, we recommend that faculty recommend our services when they identify students who can benefit from them. We also want students to come on their own accord to take advantage of this helpful service.
