Daytona Beach’s medical assisting students volunteered at CentraCare in Daytona to administer flu vaccinations. This is the second year CentraCare welcomed our students to participate in this event. It was a great turn out and 11 of our students that volunteered gave out a total of around 170 flu vaccinations. This was their first time administering injections on live patients and they did a fabulous job.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
