Keiser’s Doctor of Business Administration Degree allows experienced business professionals and future academics to dive into the deeper waters of the field of business administration. Doctoral students will explore theory and applied research methods in local and global environments to gain the skills needed to dynamically improve the organizations and communities they serve. This terminal degree program promotes advanced decision-making and leadership skills, lifelong learning, ethical and informed decision-making, effective communication, sustainability, and the use of information technologies in the global business management environment. Doctoral students will specialize in Marketing, Management, or Global Business.

Program Objectives

Program Prerequisites

  • Relevant master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited institution.

Note: Applicants for the Keiser business school’s DBA degree program who have not successfully completed 6 undergraduate credits or 3 graduate credits with at least a “B” in the areas of accounting, finance, economics, and statistics will be able to take the pre-requisite courses before starting this DBA degree. Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 will also be able to take the prerequisite courses before starting their program.

To receive a Doctor of Business Administration degree, students must earn 60 graduate semester credit hours—21 core credit hours, 12 credit hours in research, 15 credit hours in a specialization, 2 residencies, and 12 credit hours in the dissertation. Curriculum coursework includes:
