June: National Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month
This time of year, there’s nothing better than a nice slice of watermelon or a healthy stack of grilled asparagus with a lttle garlic and sprinkle of olive oil. Not only are fruits and veggies low in calories, they’re also high in vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber. So feel free to overindulge, it’s almost impossible to overeat on fresh fruit and veggies because they fill your stomach and help you feel full for a long time.
