Members of the Ft. Lauderdale Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society meet at John Lloyd Park in Dania Beach to clean up the area. Ranger John was on hand to provide the group with the history of the beach and spoke briefly about the wildlife that they see in the park. Currently it is nesting season for turtles so there are many nests up and down the beach. The most eggs they have ever discovered from a single turtle nest was 185.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
