Dr. Ed Howell, Keiser University’s Flagship Campus Department Chair of Economics and Finance, recently weighed in with WPTV, South Florida’s NBC affiliate for a story relating to the closing of several Kmart stores and other large retailers. He shared how ‘the ecology of retail has changed’ as he weighed in on the closing of large ‘brick and mortar’ chains due to competition from online sales.
