Ronald McDonald house provides a home-away-from-home for families in need to find rest and support.  These are families of children who are being treated in local hospitals due to premature births and cancer.  Members of the Student Occupational Therapy Assistant club (SOTA) “adopted a meal” for the temporary residents of the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Lauderdale.  Dinner was provided by the SOTA club for approx. 20 people currently staying at the house.  Cheryl Cohen COTA, FTL faculty and SOTA club facilitator and 10 students from the club provided food donated by local restaurants.
