The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, at the Fort Lauderdale campus, celebrated the pinning ceremony for Cohort 39.  The students successfully completed all PTA core didactic classes and will be in the clinic until the end of April.  During the ceremony students received awards for participation in the Student Physical Therapy Association (SPTA), for “Most Professional Behavior” and for “Academic Performance”.  For the first time ever, four (4) students received academic performance awards for their 4.0 core GPA. Family and friends, along with PTA faculty, congratulated the students on their wonderful accomplishments and wished them well in the future.  In attendance were Dean Porta-Avalos and Dean Scrivani who wished the students well in their future endeavors.
