Celebrating Otmonth Annamarie Esparza Ota Graduate From Ku Orlando - Seahawk Nation

“I was attracted to Keiser University because the accelerated academic programs allowed me to graduate and begin working.  Traditional higher education institutions would take longer to complete than I was interested in.  Before I came to Keiser, I was working as a server and wanted to help people.  My friend, who sustained injuries during military deployment, shared with me the benefits of occupational therapy, so I chose to enroll in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.  Another friend recommended Keiser University.  From my general education to my major core professors, my faculty members have supported me and given me confidence, including my Anatomy & Physiology professor, Dr. Aaron Booher.  My core faculty members, Bermardita Estrella, Kiera Anderson, and Jeremy Gonzalez, pushed me to be better and never give up.  They took time out of their personal schedules to provide me additional assistance.  Because I have a learning disability, I need extra time and additional practice to understand course material.  Ms. Estrella provided me additional, individual assistance.  After my first clinical rotation at Brookdale Senior Living, I was offered a job as a Medical Technician/RA.”
