The Lakeland Crime Scene Investigation class traveled to the Lakeland Police Department’s Firearms Training Center where KU Instructor Elisa Martin, who is also a Certified Police Firearms instructor, gave a presentation on the safe handling of various firearms found at crime scenes. An additional lecture was given by Tracy Grice, Crime Scene Supervisor for LPD, on the proper methods for processing firearms for evidence as well as evidence packaging.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
