Keiser University’s Daytona Beach and E-campus, in conjunction with the Ormond Beach Police Department, hosted the Florida Association of Police Explorers’ September delegates meeting. The day was filled with multiple training activities including topics such as domestic violence, sexual assault, dater, traffic stops, courtroom testimony, missing children, and body identification scenarios. There were also guest speakers from Daytona Beach Police Department and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, many who are graduates of Keiser University’s Criminal Justice VCLEP program. This event had over 170 police explorers from as far as Key West and 100 volunteers that included Keiser University students, Atlantic High School students, and instructors from various law enforcement agencies in Central Florida.
