Daytona Beach campus kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a PINK Bake Sale fundraiser with all donations benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Homemade goodies included pink strawberry cookies, pink cake pops, and soft pretzels twisted into ribbon shapes. The bake sale raised $300 towards the campus’s $2,000 goal! Additional fundraisers are planned for the month, including a pink dress down day and more bake sales (the first one was such a success!). Dr. Gloria Wyatt (Radiologic Technology Program Director) and Brittany Muh (Medical Assisting Program Director) are spearheading the campaign and have also started a Keiser University Daytona Team to walk in the ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ event on October 31st.
