The purpose of the study is to clarify the mental health challenges Vincent van Gogh most probably experienced. The death of van Gogh has also been recently questioned in pop culture, and contributed to the confusion about the nature of his passing.

Remington Harris is a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Keiser University. A U.S. Army veteran and practicing clinician, he brings expertise in clinical psychology and behavioral health to his teaching and research. His scholarly interests include patient engagement in psychotherapy and the psychological dimensions of creativity and mental illness.
