Flagship Campus students recently had the opportunity to learn more about philanthropic giving and estate and retirement planning thanks to a presentation from Jack Lansing, Vice President of Wealth Management and Portfolio Manager at UBS Wealth Management Services, in Palm Beach, Florida.

The student group, many who are members of the university’s Certified Financial Planner Topics course led by Professor George Stamas, enjoyed a lively question and answer period following the presentation which delved into topics such as planned giving, portfolio management, and the most proficient strategies for the average investor to accumulate and preserve wealth.

With over 30 year of experience in the financial services industry, Lansing and his team specialize in private client wealth management, family foundations, and institutional not-for-profit organizations.  In addition to his professional pursuits, he is an active volunteer and philanthropist who serves on the board of the West Palm Beach Rotary Club, and is incoming Board President of St. George Center Inc. in Riviera Beach.  He also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Florida Earth Foundation, and on the Advisory Council to the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation, and Quantum House.  A graduate and active alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County where he currently serves as Co-chair of their annual Songwriters in the Round Gala, Lansing earned his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Lawrence University and holds a Master Degree from Indiana University.  He and his wife Kim reside in West Palm Beach, Florida and they have two sons.
