The Fort Myers campus recently hosted a “Back to School” open house on campus. The open house is an opportunity for members of the community to come on campus and learn about the various programs and activities taking place here on campus . The focus of this open house was Criminal Justice/Crime Scene Technology and Occupational Therapy Assistant programs. As part of the open house agenda, members of the Greater Fort Myers “Women in Business” hosted their annual meeting on campus. Each attendee was encouraged to bring a donation of school supplies that was then given to The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. The Fort Myers campus also teamed up with Arts of The Inland to exhibit art displays around campus. Additionally, Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology students donated their time by acting as human statues for the festivities. The human statue activity honed the students’ balance skills, an essential part of the Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology program. A high school pre-registration event was also held in conjunction with the open house.
