Dr. Lasheba Travis, Program Coordinator Biomedical Sciences, Martin Alejandro, Financial Aid Director, and Sabine Stiles, High School Admissions Counselors participated in “Career Conversations” at the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County. With a theme of “How We Made It,” the morning consisted of 20 career-focused breakout sessions / discussions with a wide variety of professionals, business owners and college representatives, including Financial Aid. The 122 middle and high school students in attendance circulated to at least five sessions. The event was sponsored by the NAACP of Collier County and the Collier County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dr. Travis is member of the Sorority.
