In celebration of Occupational Therapy month, the OTA students hosted an “OT Fair” in the atrium of the Fort Myers campus. The fair was made up of stations showcasing some of the various treatments provided by occupational therapy practitioners. Students from all programs and in general education courses were invited to attend and, by participating in each station, were entered into the drawings for different OT themed door prizes. Each year students and practitioners recognize occupational therapy during the month of April to increase awareness of the field.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
