The Occupational Therapy Assistant students gathered in the auditorium for the 1st SOTA meeting of 2015. Ms. Lea Clem, Program Director gave out awards for perfect attendance & for those who made the Dean’s List. The officers of SOTA then explained the mission statement of SOTA and instructed everyone as to how agenda items were handled during meetings. During the meeting they discussed having a small membership fee to be in SOTA on the Fort Myers campus, fundraising ideas, and election of new officers.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
