The Fort Lauderdale campus held their inaugural Keiser’s Got Talent Show and pasta dinner, with the Hollywood Jaycees hosting, to benefit Cystic Fibrosis with over 120 people in attendance. There was also a raffle with over 22 prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and two silent auction items.

Seven acts were in the finale and included: Video Game Design Student Kaelen Hitsman, Nursing Student Carlos Velasco, Respiratory Therapy Student Gillaina Gyles, Biomedical Student Rachel Zabizhin, PTA Student Chaz Abrams, Legal Studies/IT Dean Nneka Forsman, PTA Professor Dorice Ross, Allied Health Admin Natasha White, and Associate Student Services Director Dana DellaCamera.

The Winners of Keiser’s Got Talent Show: The Singing Trio of Dean Nneka Forsman, PTA Professor Dorice Ross, and PTA student Chaz Abrams   (Dean Forsman and Professor Ross decided that the Grand Prize of $500 would go to the student!!! How wonderful)

The People’s Choice Award Winner: Carlos Velasco

The celebrity judges included: President of KUFTL Ms. Rhonda Fuller, Grad School Professor Dr. Manuel Rosa, Art Director and Talent Director of Summit Questa Montessori Ms. Tami Gomez, and President of PR Pageant Ready Coaches Ms. Jules Meyer. There were special appearances by City of Hollywood Commissioner Kevin Biederman, Miss Florida Teen USA Victoria Disorbo whose platform charity is Cystic Fibrosis, and Miss Suncoast Florida USA Jasmine Neves.
