Fort Lauderdale hosted its biannual Student Appreciation Day, Student Organizations, and Community Resource Fair. Students enjoyed the afternoon with free hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, and potato salad in a campus-wide effort to thank them for choosing Keiser University. Student organizations were present to showcase their groups and recruit members, including the Keiser University Physician Assistant Student Association (KUPASA), the Student Physical Therapy Association (SPTA), Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), and the Student Veterans of America (SVA), among others. Community resources included 211 Broward, Broward County Transit, Tri-Rail, and Insurance for Students. Community resources are vital to Keiser University and each presented their services to the students should they ever run into obstacles that might impede their education. The event was a success and all departments came out and lent a hand in honor of the students attending KeiserU.
