Representatives from the Fort Lauderdale campus attended Animate FL at the Broward County Convention center. Animate Florida is a three-day celebration of anime, animation, cosplay, video games, and comic books with some of the biggest names in the animation and anime industries, world-famous cosplayers, comedians, entertainers, and much more. Professor Humberto Lopez, Professor Robert Frank, and student Spencer Hitchens represented Keiser University’s video game design program, along with CRC’s Jacquelyn Krat and Chaynea Fox-Sampson. During the event, Spencer Hitchens showcased a video game he designed for final class project. Guests of the event had the opportunity to play Spencer’s game, provide feedback, and learn about the opportunities at Keiser University.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
