Diagnostic Medical Sonography students at the Fort Myers campus were given a group project assignment to create their own ultrasound machine system.   By lottery system, groups were divided into 4.  Each group was then divided into ultrasound component parts, with individual group members tasked to design and create their specific part for their ultrasound machine.  They also had to create a flyer for their machine, a summary for their individual component and give a video presentation.  They then were to inform the student body about their creation so the student body could vote for their favorite one.  Mrs. Chang presented awards for the winners.  The students enjoyed the challenge and learned about the physics of how an ultrasound machine is built through doing research on upcoming technologies and coming up with a few ideas of their own.
