Next Steps Checklist
Now that you’ve completed your enrollment profile and application, let’s take a look at the “Next Steps” in the admission process:
Step 1: Revisit Your Program Admission Requirements
Step 2: Upload Your Admission Documents
- In the Student Enrollment Portal click on “My Documents”
- Upload the corresponding documents to fulfill the Admission Requirements Listed in Step 1
- Fill out the Letters of Recommendation/Reference Form
Step 3: Schedule Your Financial Aid Appointment
- Your Admission Counselor will connect you to your dedicated Financial Aid Officer to schedule your FA Appointment & receive assistance completing the FAFSA
- The day of your official FA Appointment, please be sure to have access to a computer with internet service or be prepared to bring the documents into a Keiser University campus location. In preparation of this appointment, collect your prior year income tax returns. In the meantime, our FAFSA School Code is 015159
Step 4: Class Registration
- Once you’ve accepted your financial aid funding plan, our registrars will schedule you for your courses throughout your entire degree plan from start to completion. If you have transfer credits exceptions may apply.
- Meet your assigned program advisor.
Step 5: Order Books
- Your admissions counselor will assist you in ordering your books through our online bookstore. Standard receipt is 3-5 business days unless you order priority.
Step 6: Attend Orientation
Online Programs
- Option 1: Self-paced, accessed through Blackboard.
- Option 2: Scheduled, live before each class start date with a second option after each class start date.
Campus Programs
- Speak with your Admission Counselor to discuss orientation requirements as appliable to your selected campus location.
Step 7: Begin Classes
- At Keiser University, the class week runs from Monday through Sunday, midnight EST. You must login by Wednesday of week one to confirm your attendance in class. You must participate a minimum of 3 logins per week in the Blackboard classroom for each course. For campus students, please see your academic team for attendance requirements by program.
