Keiser University Professor Greg Williams hosted a workshop on “Image is Everything – the importance of crafting the proper image in business success” in Lakeland. He invited Derek Adams to talk about KU’s Summer Festival at the event.
Before coming to KU, Greg spent over a decade in international sales and helped bring over 200 businesses to the Internet throughout the 1990’s. Instructor Williams presented to high school students attending the Police Athletic League’s mentorship in business session. The event was sponsored by the NAACP and the Central Florida Business Diversity Council. In all, about 30 students and more than a dozen adults attended.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
