The Jacksonville campus celebrated their 10th year in the community with an event that welcomed local Chamber representatives, employers, Advisory Board members, alumni, and academic colleagues. There were over 100 attendees who attended the event with a theme focusing on the bridges that span the Jacksonville area. City Commissioner Johnny Gaffney spoke, Senator Aaron Bean wrote a beautiful letter which was read by his staff, Dee Alexander, Senator Marco Rubio’s office was present as well as Representative Lake Ray. In the classrooms, students made presentations to showcase all they learn in their programs.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
