Keiser University recently welcomed eight South Florida high school teams to its Flagship Campus as its Seahawk Women’s Basketball Team hosted a two-day team camp designed to provide area teams the opportunity to play new opponents.

“We were delighted to showcase our campus and athletic facilities to the local student athletes. Teams were provided with an organized event that ran on time in a competitive setting, and we were grateful for the opportunity to evaluate local talent. Our goal is to grow our Keiser University Women’s Basketball Team camp  into an event that high school teams throughout the state of Florida will make a priority in their summer plans because of the valuable experience they gain,” said Women’s Basketball Coach Pam Oswald of the event, in which coaches picked competition levels for the three games they were provided each day.

The occasion also provided the Keiser University Women’s Basketball Team an opportunity to give back as they helped with the officiating and game operations for each game.
