Keiser University and Superhero Swim Academy were recently featured on WPTV NBC West Palm Beach to share information about a partnership formed to offer a limited number of free swimming lessons at Keiser University’s Flagship Campus pool to those who qualify.

On August 9, 2021, Keiser University hosted Florida Lt. Governor Jeanette Nuñez and state and local officials to announce fundraising efforts to build an aquatic center and Olympic pool on the university’s 100-acre Flagship Campus in West Palm Beach, Fla. Once complete the aquatic center will serve as a community resource to swimmers of all ages and abilities and the future home to the Seahawks’ NAIA Championship swimming teams.

The partnership with Superhero Swim Academy, which began in June, is part of Keiser University’s commitment to ensuring area children and families learn the valuable and life-saving skill of swimming and help them develop confidence in the water. Children and families that are interested in free swim lesson should visit

“When you see a small child jump into the water, who is completely comfortable and knows how to swim to the side, you know that they will have a skill that is with them for the rest of their life,” said Belinda Keiser, Vice Chancellor.

The new aquatic center at Keiser University will be one of only four Olympic-sized pools in Palm Beach County and will support the County’s mission of bringing premier events to the Palm Beaches to enhance economic impact and stimulate bed tax revenues in the region. The Palm Beach County Sports Commission has signaled support of the project as have numerous state and local officials, first responders, and community organizations throughout Palm Beach County. The development of the aquatic center is part of Keiser University’s 45-year commitment of service to its students, communities, and Florida.

Keiser University will host a Community Leaders Campaign Dinner event on November 2, 2022, featuring keynote addresses from 12-time Olympic Medalists, Dara Torres and Ryan Lochte. For more information about the event and how to get involved, visit:
