The Miami Heat will return to Palm Beach County for the third consecutive year in October when Keiser University hosts the NBA franchise for their annual training camp. The Heat announced on Wednesday that they will hold their 2019 camp at Massimino Court on Keiser’s Flagship Campus from October 1 through October 5, 2019.

“Keiser University is excited to host the Miami Heat at our Flagship Campus,” said Keiser University Chancellor Dr. Arthur Keiser, Ph.D. “We look forward to hosting this world-class organization.”

Following Media Day on Monday, September 30 at AmericanAirlines Arena, the HEAT will travel to West Palm Beach to conduct two-a-day practice sessions at Massimino Court, home to the Keiser University Seahawk Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs. Housed in the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center, Massimino Court is named after legendary coach Rollie Massimino who closed out his career at Keiser following the 2016-17 season.

The Heat’s move north continues a tradition of preseason work in Palm Beach County, with previous training camps held at FAU, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College.

The camp sessions are closed to the public, with no public scrimmage planned during the Heat’s time at Keiser University. Media availability will take place following the first session only, with a viewing time updated daily. A media workroom will be set up within the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center in the E-Gaming Room. Media should enter the Student Life Center through the main entrance.
