Keiser University recently welcomed hundreds of Seahawk fans to its ‘Football Season Kick-Off’ celebration. Guests enjoyed special presentations from Keiser University Chancellor Dr. Arthur Keiser and 2015 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Anquan Boldin.
A Florida native dubbed the ‘Pride of Pahokee,’ Boldin candidly shared the challenges and childhood determination that shaped the foundation for his success, and later met with the team for further discussions. While emphasizing the importance of envisioning one’s future by setting definitive goals from an early age, Boldin also relayed the positive mindsets and strategies necessary to support and inspire others both on the football field and beyond.

My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
