WEST PALM BEACH – The West Palm Beach Campus hosted an Advisory Board meeting for Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Health Services Administration, Information Technology, Radiologic Technology, Physical Therapy Assistant, Sports Medicine & Fitness Technology, and Nursing programs. President Lea and Dr. Sullivan, Dean of Academics, welcomed our guests with a brief overview of campus updates since our last meeting in April. Following the presentation each programmatic group met to discuss their program providing our Program Directors with feedback with is vital to the success of our programs and our graduates.
LAKELAND – Lakeland held their 2015 Fall advisory board and all programs had members represented at the meeting and the Program Directors received great feedback.
DAYTONA – Daytona Beach held a successful Advisory Board meeting. The morning started with a welcome by Campus President, Dr. David Champlin, introductions of our guests, and campus-wide updates. After breakfast and breakout sessions, employers were invited for a tour of the campus!.
TALLAHASSEE – The Tallahassee campus held its biannual meeting. Attendees included representatives from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Capital Regional Medical Center, Leon County School District, and other major employers in the greater Tallahassee area. President Maria Mead provided the keynote address; further discussing Keiser University’s local, regional, and global economic impact. The 2015 recipient of the Employer Choice Award was Executive Chef Tim Drown of the University Center Club. Accepting the award on his behalf was Head Chef and Keiser University Baking & Pastry graduate, Cynthia Pounsel. Cynthia is now working under Executive Chef Tim Down’s leadership at the University Center Club.
